Kosmos immerses campers in music and dance. Our beautiful Northern California facility hosts world-class workshop instructors, along with ample spaces to jam and perform with others who share their dedication.

We have a bigger, better home for Kosmos. Cazadero, located in western Sonoma County, CA near Santa Rosa, is just 15 minutes from the Russian River and the Pacific Ocean. It's much closer to both the SF Bay Area (less than 2 hours drive!) and Sacramento. While Saratoga Springs will always have a place in our hearts, the popularity of Kosmos simply outgrew the facilities.

Nestled among majestic Redwood trees, the new Cazadero Camp location offers huge dance spaces, a gorgeous performance amphitheater, and a camp atmosphere soaked in rustic charm. The frustration of previous dorm accomodations has been eliminated, thanks to Cazadero Camp's comfy tent/cabins. With beds and private decks, these four-person lodgings are a definite upgrade to both the crowded dorms and traditional tents. Don't worry... If you prefer your own tent, we'll have plenty of room for those as well. Plus, a limited number of private canopies for couples!

In order to simplify sign ups, we're providing all three types of accomodations at the same price. You won't have to pay a premium to get the lodging you prefer. And we're even offering a discount to those who want to reserve their space straight away! Sign up before March 1st and you'll save $25 over the standard rate of $375. With this early-bird rate of just $350, that's a great deal!

While we're always happy to welcome back many of the dedicated teachers that have made Kosmos the thriving community it has become, we're also excited to announce amazing new talents to expand the Kosmos experience. Just added to this year's camp are Havana-native Ramon Ramos, who will be heating up Cuban modern and salsa Dance while authentic Rom Sani Rifati shares his native culture and line dancing. Other new blood includes hip-hop phenom Corey Action, Flamenco star Phoebe "La Fibi" Vernier, and bellydance superstars Aubre and Zoe Jakes! Learn more about all the teachers here.

We're also excited to welcome back our chef from 2004 and 2006, Siam Moeini! Our culinary goal for 2008 is to improve the vegetarian menu, adding more protein variety and veggie treats, and to offer more yummy dessert options. And previous campers will tell you: Siam puts much love into his delicious food.
